Love yourself, as you are, right now.

Love is a state of perfect caring. It is an active noun like struggle. To love someone is to strive to accept that person exactly the way he or she is, right here and now. - Fred Rogers

The hardest person to love is you. It's a struggle, especially when you're attempting to change yourself.

I'm sure there's an eloquent way I could get to my point, but this point is too important, and honestly, it's Tuesday and it feels like it should be Thursday. I'm tired. But, I couldn't go to sleep without getting this out. So here's my point:

In the midst of change is the time you should love yourself more than ever. The choice to change is an act of love.

You are worthy of love right now, exactly as you are. Every time you step into the gym, your body does incredible things - things you should celebrate.   It doesn't matter if you are the last one to finish your WOD, or if your 75% feels next to impossible, or if you're being a head case about a particular skill. Every step, every lift, every moment of pain or struggle is a love letter to yourself.

Don't miss those moments by wishing you were different. Celebrate the choices you've made, the incredible person you are, and the process of struggle and victory that is this crazy road we're on.
